This policy covers the Sahtain app and this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Meal photos are not kept
When you photograph a meal, the image is sent to the model that reads it and is then discarded. We do not store the original, we do not use it to train a model, and we do not sell it. A thumbnail of at most 64 kilobytes is kept with the diary entry so you can recognise the meal later, and it is deleted with that entry.
What the app stores
Your account email, the diary you create, your goals and weight history, your language and theme choice, and the settings you change. Where you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, the steps, sleep and weight the app reads are used to shape your targets and are not sent anywhere else.
What this website stores
If you join the waitlist we store the email address you type, the language you were reading in, the time you submitted, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to slow down automated submissions. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and it sets no cookies.
Who we share with
The model provider that reads a meal photo receives that photo for the length of the request. The payment is handled by Apple or Google, who do not share your card details with us. Nobody else receives your data, and we do not sell it to anyone for any purpose.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and everything in it, by writing to support@conquerailabs.com from the address on the account. Deletion is permanent. Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law you may also complain to the competent authority.
Children
Sahtain is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you before the change takes effect rather than quietly updating this page.
